Near downtown Hilo, Hawai'i Rainbow Falls sits nestled into the lush tropical hillside. Tropical Bird of Paradise flowers line scenes' edge illuminated by the last light of the day. As these waning shafts of sunlight pour over the top of Rainbow Falls they set the misty air aglow.

Pua Melia & Amakihi – Pink Plumeria Print
Pua Melia, or pink plumeria are one of the flowers most associated with paradise. Their fragrance alone is enough to immediately transport someone to the tropics. Here a flowering plumeria branch serves as a perch to an Amakihi bird. Perhaps he is stopping to smell the flowers.
